Bjerkreimsmarken

One of Rogaland's largest agricultural fairs and a folk festival for the entire region!

Bjerkreimsmarken is a traditional "marken" that this year celebrates its 40th anniversary. Here you can experience exhibitions of animals and agricultural machines, music and dance with local performers, competitions, arts and crafts, and great deals on everything from local food to home alarms.

Norwegian Championship in Sheep Shearing and Wool Handling

During Bjerkreimsmarken, the Norwegian Championship in sheep shearing and wool handling will also take place on September 25th and 26th. For the tenth time, Bjerkreim will host the championship, where skilled participants compete for the national titles.

On Friday evening, there will be speed shearing and Markenspub, and on Saturday evening, there will be a banquet dinner and concert with Gunslingers.
