Sheep gathering in Maudalsheia
Description
The first Saturday in September each year, the traditional sheep gathering is arranged in Maudalsheia. The sheep are driven down from the highlands and gathered below the shelter at Stavtjørn Vintercamping.
The sheep are expected around 3:00 PM, but the time is indicative. It is not always easy to get a flock of sheep to follow the schedule!
The sheep gathering is a pleasant autumn tradition and a nice experience for both young and old.
