Description
Nyyyt is passionate about quality meat. The meat is carefully selected from the best quality raw materials, ensuring that discerning customers receive top-class products, while also creating added value for the farmers Nyyyt collaborates with. Nyyyt has participated in Det norske måltid for three years, Norway's award for the best food and drink products, and has received both nominations and awards for several products. Nyyyt supplies the restaurant, retail, and private markets.
Today, food is produced from lamb, pork, and beef. The assortment includes, among other things, cured sausages, cured ham, a wide range of grilled foods, hamburgers, pork neck, and festive food such as pinnasteik. A new and exciting area of focus is Norwegian Wagyu, which has been bred by Nyyyt. In 2020, Tomahawk, a milk-fed calf with 50 percent Wagyu, was a finalist in the Meat of the Year award.
The meat shop at Røysland gaard
Nyyyt has its own meat shop at Røysland gaard. Here are some of the items you can buy: dry-aged beef, fresh ground meat, cold cuts, cured meats, sausages, dry-aged ribs, pinnasteik, and other treats.
