By Kvitlalona, there is a cozy little sand beach along the trail that leads to Kvitlen tourist cabin. The sand beach is surrounded by beautiful deciduous forest and lovely valleys. If you are adventurous, this is an excellent place to combine swimming with sleeping in a hammock.
Access
The best way to find the sand beach is by following the hiking trail to Kvitlen tourist cabin. There are two alternative routes to Kvitlen tourist cabin:
– Bjordal to Kvitlen (5.5 km)
– Eikebrekka to Kvitlen (9.5 km)
