Gloppedalsura
Description
Photo point, spectacular view. Gloppedalsura is located on Rv 503 between Veen and Byrkjedalstunet, on the border between Bjerkreim and Gjesdal.
The rock slide is the largest in Northern Europe. It consists of avalanche blocks that lie on top of an end moraine. It was created 10,000 years ago when the glaciers melted away from Gloppedalen.
