The hike up to Vålandstjørni starts in beautiful cultural landscape where cows and sheep graze during the summer.

Trail description

From the parking lot at Spødavoll, follow the road up to a farmyard where a sign with the text “Topptur” (Top hike) shows the way to Vålandstjørna. Follow the red-marked trail upwards until you reach Vålandstjørna. Once you arrive at the pond, you will immediately notice a small woodland grove where there are several nice camping spots for tents and hammocks.
