Good parking facilities if you come by car, i.e. by the suspension bridge on Hovland or innermost in Bjordal. This hidden valley didn’t get road connection until the 1970s. This is a starting point for many great hikes. You can reach the Stavanger Turistforening’s cabin Kvitlen from here , and continue on old farm roads all the way to Hunnedalen or Sirdalen. Or you could follow marked routes to Mjåvassknuten or Bjordalsstølen.
