Nyyyt farm slaughterhouse is located on Røysland Gaard in Bjerkreim and is run by, and with local farmers. From October 1, 2021, we will also have our own butcher shop on the farm.
We in Nyyyt are passionate about quality meat. We hand-pick meat of the best quality so that it benefits discerning customers, and not least it gives added value to the farmers we work with. We have been involved in “Det Norske Måltid” for three years, which is a selection of the best food and beverage products in Norway, and we have won nominations and awards for several products. We deliver to restaurants, shops and to the private market.
Today we produce food from lamb, pig and cattle. At Nyyyt you will find cured sausages, bacon, a large selection of barbecue food, burgers, pork neck and party food such as stick roast to name a few. A new and exciting project that we at Nyyyt have bred is Norwegian Wagyu. In 2020, we became a finalist in this year’s meat with Tomahawk, which is a milk-fed 50% Wagyu calf.
