Fishing holiday or family holiday close to nature?

Lunden is situated on a hill with a beautiful view overlooking Tengesdal and Bjerkreimselva, and from the terrace, you can see directly down to the river, 50 meters below. The cabin is perfect for active sports fishermen or for those who prefer lazy days in the sun, with swimming in the river and outings in nature.

Getting to Lunden is easy. It takes only 50 minutes from Stavanger and less than 15 minutes from Egersund. The cabin is easily accessible with a well-maintained road leading right up to the door.

The cabin has a size of 68 sqm and can accommodate up to seven people in three bedrooms. In addition, there is a bathroom with a shower, a living room, a well-equipped kitchen, a laundry room with a washing machine, a sauna, and a large terrace. The kitchen features a dishwasher, refrigerator, and a stove with an oven. The floors are tiled with underfloor heating. Additionally, the cabin has a satellite TV.

On the terrace, there is a wood-fired hot tub, and the outdoor areas are spacious with a barbecue area and a playhouse with a sandbox. Everything is set for a comfortable stay.

Near the cabin, there are also two public bathing spots and, not least, many great hiking areas.

The minimum rental period is 1 week.

The cabin is located in zone 1 of Bjerkreimselva, which is the first zone after Fotlandfossen and Fotlandsvannet. The fishing stretch is about 4 km long and extends up to Kleivafossen in the southern part of the river. The fishing rights in this area are managed by Bjerkreim Elveeigarlag, and fishing permits can be purchased on-site.

Bjerkreimselva is one of Norway’s best salmon rivers, and the fishing season runs from June 15th to September 20th.
