Easy hike with great views!
Driving directions and parking:
From E39 at Søyland, take the exit towards Nedrebø. Follow Nedrebøvegen until you reach the intersection where the road from Vikeså comes from the right. Continue straight ahead towards Birkeland until the asphalt road ends, then drive between the barns over the cattle grid. Proceed straight at the road junction until you reach the information sign. Parking is available at the information sign before the cabins.
Please note that there is a limited number of parking spaces.
Hiking description:
The hike starts at the parking lot in Birkeland. The hike is easy and well-marked with red paint. Follow the gravel path for approximately 700 meters until you reach the sign that directs you towards Kyrkjefjellet. Take the left turn for the shortest hike or continue along the gravel road towards Stølsvatnet for the circular route.

- Shortest hike: Approximately 4 km round trip from the parking lot (duration: 2 hours)
- Circular route: 6.5 km round trip from the parking lot (duration: 2 hours)
- Difficulty level: Moderate
