Description
One of Norway's best salmon rivers. A total of 54km of fishable stretch. The fishing season starts on June 1, but limited day ticket sales for the first 14 days. Regular salmon fishing is open between June 15 and September 20. See www.bjerkreimselva.no for more information about fishing permits, accommodation, etc. Fishing spot at Gjedlakleiv right by E39 before Saglandsbakken is adapted for wheelchair access.
