Bjerkreim Kayak Club

Bjerkreim Paddle Club was informally established in 2012, and as interest grew and membership increased, a formal club was established in 2013.

The idea of establishing a club came after the founders, a few locals from Bjerkreim, realized in the fall of 2012 what fantastic opportunities we have for this sport right outside our doors. Normally, there is a group on the river at least once a week, the session is adapted to the level of those participating. The Bjerkreim waterways have something for all levels!

It is always great to have new paddlers whether you have a lot of experience or are a beginner. When we paddle together, we always learn something new and have an incredibly fun time together.

We are constantly trying to develop ourselves to offer a varied and complementary kayaking experience.

We see ourselves as an alternative to mainstream sports. With us, everyone should fit in regardless of age, skill level, etc.
